Welcome to SAAS – Sparkles Adult Amdram Society.
Our adult drama group is open to anyone aged 18 and over, regardless of experience.
Whether you've performed in countless productions or have never stepped on a stage before, you'll be made to feel welcome from day one.
At SAAS, we believe performing arts should be accessible, enjoyable and pressure free. There are no auditions to join the group and no expectations to be a polished performer. We simply ask that you come along, get involved and enjoy yourself.

What We Do
Throughout the year we work on a variety of projects, including:
• Musical theatre
• Drama and acting
• Comedy
• Cabaret performances
• Charity showcases
• Pantomimes
• Script work and character development
• Confidence building and performance skills
There is something for everyone, whether you love singing, acting, performing or simply being part of a creative team.

Fridays 6:00pm – 8:00pm
Victoria Community and Youth Centre, Charles Street, Whitefield
Cost
£20 per month
This simply helps cover venue hire and rehearsal costs.

Many of our members joined knowing nobody and having little or no performance experience. The hardest part is walking through the door for the first time.

The Fairytale of Manchester
Our current project is an adults only pantomime packed with comedy, music, larger than life characters and plenty of Manchester attitude.
New members are welcome - It's never too late to join. Even if we're already into a production, we will always find a role for you.

At Sparkles Academy of Performing Arts, we strive to provide fun and educational classes to all our pupils, irrespective of gender, race and ability. We understand that no two children are alike and as such, each module is designed to suit each child's individual personality and needs. Our quality tutoring covers Drama, Dance, Vocal and Private Tuition, along with Holiday Clubs, Parties and Competitions for children and young people aged 3-18 years.
